Family Law - Child Custody and Visitation

Knowing exactly where you stand will help us know how best to help you create a parenting plan that is accommodating and flexible.

Child-Related Divorce Matters
There are many factors to consider when making a decision as important as your children’s living arrangements following divorce. When we meet with our clients, we begin by asking, “What do you want?” Once we have determined this, we can begin to look at your options – do you want Legal and Physical Custody? Are you looking for a timeshare? What percentage of time will your children live with you? What is working in your current situation? What do your children want? What are the priorities of the other party?

Keeping Lines of Communication Open
No matter what the tenor of your relationship with your soon-to-be ex-spouse, the simple truth remains – if you have minor children, your level of communication is going to be even more important than before you were divorced. The success of the parenting plan you develop depends on your ability to communicate over matters concerning you and your children’s schedules.

We realize that in high-conflict divorce cases direct communication often becomes impossible. At Greene Law, P.C., we work with our clients to devise means of communication (through e-mail, grandparents or another third party) that preserve the well-being of children and ensure their access to both parents.

Our aggressive, dynamic approach to Family Law, and our years of combined experience have worked well for our clients.
